A great hotel emerged from a former grain mill. The main building (the old mill and storage space) houses a very good restaurant and breakfast area on the ground floor. Upper floors contain rooms. Next door a new building offers additional rooms that are spacious and newly refurbished. Everything was flawless, super quiet and very pleasant. Free parking spots behind the house. The courtyard is a lovely area with many tables, ideal for wonderful summer evenings outdoors. It’s hard to find any criticisms—everything was as expected!

The hotel sits nicely on the Lahnradweg, the reception was welcoming and the staff pleasant. A lockable bike rack was available, the room was tidy, the beds comfortable and the breakfast tasty.

The hotel’s location was very quiet, the breakfast buffet generous and the restaurant’s kitchen delicious. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and courteous. We could start walking right from the hotel and didn’t need a car to hike along the Lahn. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water on arrival and a kettle, some body lotion and cotton pads in the bathroom – things that come standard in 3‑star hotels. Those are small touches that add the finishing detail. Overall we were very satisfied.
