Everything was spot‑on, the staff were attentive at all times. The bathroom fixtures were old and uncomfortable to use.

The location is just a 2‑minute walk from the lively center (restaurants, tours, shops, grocery) and the beach, yet it’s very quiet and you don’t hear the city’s bustle at all. The décor is beautiful with tropical plants, turtles, a parrot, and a sea view. Cleanliness is impeccable. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff (owner, housekeepers, gardener, guards) are excellent. The bedding, sheets, and towels are changed daily and are adorned with fresh flower decorations on the bed. Our fantastic housekeeper even folded all the clothes my daughter had left lying around. The only downside was that there was no hot water for the entire stay and the shower pressure was non‑existent.

The trees and the turtles were lovely. The hill is a little steep.

Nice place but not without some issues. The hotel consists of bungalows in the garden on the hill slope. The view is beautiful, the garden is nice, and big turtles walk freely around. The staff are polite and helpful; one lady spoke English (not always present). The furniture is quite basic, with no A/C, fridge, kettle, or TV (which we never use anyway), just beds and a few shelves. Each bungalow has a nice small terrace. Wi‑Fi was quite good, reasonably fast and reliable. The bathroom is spacious, and hot water flows after waiting a few minutes. The garden attracts mosquitoes, and there are holes in the frames of the doors and windows, so they always get inside at night. One needs to sleep under a net; no bites but it’s stuffy. Breakfast was rather poor – just white bread, jam, fruit, and a glass of juice. No eggs, ham, or anything more substantial. The hotel is uphill from the main street of the village, with restaurants and shops – so every time we go back we have to climb about 100‑150 m and a few floors up. In hot weather.
