I got to experience life in Nubia village, and owner Abdra cared about everything, making the stay comfortable. The breakfast and vegetarian dinner were delicious.

A beautiful hostel, very quiet and peaceful, far from crowds. Owner Abdullah is warm and friendly, showed us around and always ready to help. The Nubian‑style food is huge and tasty—highly recommend 👍

The place is amazing: an authentic Nubian house with comfy rooms and plenty of outdoor space. We felt safe the whole time and never worried. This was our second stay, and we’ll definitely return. We stayed two nights and host Abdallah and his family took great care of us, helped book tours at good prices, and even led a tour showing local agriculture and the Aswan Westbank. The food at Bafana Bafana is delicious; Abdallah’s aunt cooked fresh Nubian dishes daily and we couldn’t get enough. If you want a deep local experience, Bafana Bafana is the spot.
