Green Thumb Farm Stay

“Convenient, comfortable, secure, no drama llama - was amazing”

The property sits at the end of a dirt road, which was easy to drive on, surrounded by green pastures and a view of the dam. The little farmhouse was charming, could sleep five people, and featured beautiful white‑washed walls, modern rustic farm‑style décor, and perfect amenities for us. My only gripe was that I couldn’t stay longer, but that was my choice. We felt safe and secure, and the wood we collected was used for a roaring indoor fire where we curled up under blankets and fell asleep—what a beautiful hidden gem.

“Beautiful place, will definitely be back”

We had a very short stay, checking in at 17:00 and leaving at 06:00 the next morning. The only downside was that we were moved to a different room.

We stayed on a working farm and enjoyed the wide horizons, big skies, and wonderful cloud formations—typical South African Highveld. The Google location was incorrect, so a bit of fiddling with Google Maps was necessary.

“Convenient and such a special stay. Would definitely stay here again”

The staff were extremely helpful. The farm was beautiful, and we were allowed to walk around and enjoy the scenery.

“The perfect weekend away”

Being away from the city’s hustle and the nearby coal trucks was a plus. The host was super helpful and friendly, and everything else was perfect.
