The breakfast was good and classic, and the reception staff were very helpful. The hotel is very accessible to the city center; the square is about a 10‑minute walk. We recommend visiting the pleasant “Kakabu Café” with its pastry shop and cozy outdoor seating on Antonína Trapla 67/6, Boskovice—reasonable prices and just a short stroll from the main square. The only downside from our perspective is that the hotel has no elevator. With only two floors, we were assigned room 209 on the second floor, at the very end of the hallway, which made carrying luggage up the stairs a bit annoying, especially if you forget something from the car or for older guests it can be somewhat tiring.
I really liked the clean rooms and the relaxed staff, but getting into the bed from one side was almost impossible.
Clean, cozy room. The breakfast served in the hotel restaurant was tasty, and the service was pleasant. The attic room for two people was quite cramped.
“Jednodenní pobyt při návštěvě koncertu v Boskovicích”
The hotel sits just a short walk from the train and bus stations, making it convenient if you need to check in quickly or are rushing to a connection; I was able to check in in advance so I didn’t have to wait at the front desk, and after paying by card I received a PIN that opens both the room door and the hotel entrance when the reception is closed – I didn’t use it for payment, but the same email arrived after paying on site, which is handy for arrivals outside reception hours; the reception was open well past its official closing time (until midnight in my case, although it usually closes at 20:00, perhaps because I was staying from Friday to Saturday), after which you need the PIN to get in; the staff responded quickly to questions via the booking app; a free water bottle, kettle, teas, a safe, and a reasonably priced minibar were all in the room; the breakfast was plentiful and regularly replenished, with scrambled eggs, sunny‑side‑up, bacon, various cured meats, cheeses, vegetables, yogurts, pastries, and even pancakes (though I didn’t try them); the hotel’s restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner; I was disappointed that the check‑in app required a card payment in its own system rather than through booking, which made me wary; the beds were too soft for my taste and my back; rooms on higher floors can only be reached by stairs – I didn’t see an elevator and I can’t imagine hauling a heavy suitcase up the stairs for a longer stay, though a short stay with just a carry‑on is fine; the electronic lock was nice but took a moment to learn, and I also missed the option to lock the door from inside; the hotel’s proximity to the station means you can hear trains and a crossing bell at night, but it didn’t disturb me.
Good breakfast, pleasant staff, nice room, great restaurant. The room was right next to the dorms, and from about half‑past four it was unfortunately too noisy to sleep.
