The room was amazing, situated on the fifth floor with a large balcony just a few blocks from the beach, and the staff were outstanding.

We arrived around noon and immediately noticed a musty, damp odor in the rooms; one air conditioner failed to cool, while the other bathroom sink was clogged. We told the front desk, then left for town for a few hours, only to find the reception empty when we returned in the evening with no notification or fixes. The towels and sheets were dirty and stained, and with no staff present we had to wait until morning to bring up the AC and sink again, only to be told maintenance knew about the problems but would do nothing. We were offered to move the children to another floor, which was impossible for our young kids. In short, the rooms were hot, stuffy, and smelled musty—unacceptable and not as advertised. We had to book another hotel and received no refund for the five nights, which was a terrible, shocking experience that ruined our vacation.
