The hotel was spotless and clearly well‑maintained – I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. Everything just worked perfectly, so there really wasn’t any downside at all.

The crew here went above and beyond; they were genuinely amazing to deal with. I didn’t run into any issues, so there’s nothing negative to mention.

Pur blew me away – the rooms were clean and comfy, the gardens were beautifully landscaped, and the food and drinks were consistently good. Lucy and Pablo were always there, doing more than you’d expect, and the location hit the sweet spot: away from the hustle of downtown San Pedro but still within walking distance of great bars, restaurants, and cafés. I’d book it again in a heartbeat.

Breakfast was a highlight – plenty of options and generous portions – and the staff were consistently friendly, plus the complimentary airport shuttle was a nice touch. On the downside, the building is starting to look a bit worn and could use a refresh, and the rooms feel cramped on longer trips because of limited storage. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you don’t mind a few cosmetic issues.
