Lucy and Carlos made us feel like part of the family, always checking in and keeping everything running smoothly. The meals were delicious, each bite bursting with flavor, and the well‑maintained road made getting there a breeze. It turned out to be an ideal spot to unwind, and honestly I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about – everything was great.

The eco‑hotel in Buenavista, about a 20‑minute drive from Villavicencio, felt like a hidden gem thanks to Carlos and Luz who were constantly attentive and served up mouth‑watering dishes. Friendly dogs roamed the grounds and the “Piedra del Amor” viewpoint is just a five‑minute walk away. Having a car certainly helps to reach the other tourist spots, but even without it I was happy with everything.

The place itself was pleasant and the food hit the spot, while Luz and Carlos radiated genuine warmth, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Luz and Carlos went out of their way to make us feel welcome, the meals were tasty and the hotel’s pretty setting was ideal for a break from the world. The only downside was that they only accept cash, but aside from that everything was spot on.
