“A practical base for exploring Sucre”
I enjoyed a pleasant stay at Expresso Hostel, and the staff’s friendliness really stood out. They let me check in at 6 AM and even stayed beyond the usual checkout time while I waited for my flight, which was a big help. I also liked how seriously the staff took guests’ feedback; when earlier guests mentioned missing curtains, a fridge, and weak Wi‑Fi, they quickly supplied what was needed. The location is great, though it’s on a busy street so some noise is inevitable. The room itself is basic but had everything I required. A tip: message the owner on WhatsApp before you arrive to arrange your check‑in; they reply, just give them a bit of time. Don’t expect a typical hostel vibe; it’s more of a family‑run guesthouse with private rooms and shared kitchen and bathroom, no reception desk, but the host hands you keys to your room and the house. All in all, I liked my stay here and hope you will too.
