The host was very friendly and helpful. The central location is ideal for walking around town, and the nearby multi‑storey parking is convenient. Overall, the place is clean and quiet. Guests can leave luggage in storage after check‑out with no time limit. The hair dryer is handy, and complimentary fresh water in the bar fridge is appreciated. There are no towel hooks in the bathroom. The room lacks wardrobes; only a few hangers on an open metal frame are available. The complimentary toiletries are limited to two soap dispensers. There is a lot of dust under the bed. Night lights or lamps near the bed are missing. In four nights, no one emptied the trash can or changed the towels.

I didn’t get a chance to meet the host, but she was friendly and quick to respond to every request. The location relative to Catania’s center is excellent. To enter the accommodation, several ramps of stairs must be climbed, so it’s best for those who can adapt and for stays of two or three nights at most. The overall stay was pleasant, but some aspects need improvement. The room differed somewhat from the photos: the doors were insecure, the bathroom sink was uncomfortable, and the walls needed repainting. Small upgrades would make the stay more welcoming. Like everywhere in Catania, garbage is everywhere under the accommodation, and there are groups of people who seemed untrustworthy, but they didn’t bother us.

Every year I book this place for friends from out of town and it always delivers; everything is flawless – clean rooms, well‑maintained surroundings, and attentive staff. Its central market location adds an authentic touch that guests love, so I highly recommend it. The rooms are spacious, spotless, stylishly furnished, and fully equipped, with a very comfortable bed that makes for a relaxing post‑day. The overall detail and care in management are unmistakable.
