Everything I needed was available. However, some vending machines still don’t accept 1,000 yen notes, and the change dispenser was empty, so I couldn’t buy anything. The breakfast service was closed on Sunday, though the day was unclear.

The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. On the downside, the refrigerator door seal was long and torn. The previous guest’s trash had fallen onto the carpet behind the dresser, and hair was left in the washbasin. The hotel’s business cards were marked “feel free to take them,” but they were old, dirty, and reused. I wondered whether the manager actually performed the final room‑cleaning check. I suggested that a tray beside the range on the front side would make it easier to carry hot items. Even though the building and equipment are old, I’d still rate a hotel highly if it were clean. I was surprised to find the refrigerator door seal had been damaged for a while, not just recently. I understand the hotel faces staffing shortages and other challenges, and I hope they can overcome them.

Breakfast was tasty, and I appreciated the welcome drink. The bed was a bit firm, and the comforter could have been fluffier.

The overall cleanliness was very good and the air conditioning worked well. The only complaint was that I went there at night and wanted some food, even if it was just a ready‑to‑eat meal.
