“Nice views but the room and facilities need improvement”

The hosts and staff were friendly and welcoming, and the view over the rice terraces is beautiful, making the place peaceful and relaxing. However, the room felt quite run down, with a noticeable mouldy smell, an uncomfortable bed, and no hot water for the shower. The blanket lacked a sheet, which was concerning from a hygiene perspective, implying that different guests might have used it before it was washed. We asked for an extra sheet and were told they would check, but we never received one. Overall, the location is lovely, but the room and facilities need improvement.

I loved everything during my stay; the hosts were truly very pleasant and attentive, and we could share with them even though we didn't speak much English. The place was very quiet, tucked away among rivers just a few minutes by scooter from Jatiluwih. The restaurant at the emergence offered a magnificent view of the rice fields.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sari Devi Eco Lodge! 🌿 If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of Bali, this is the place. Set right on a working rice farm, the lodge is surrounded by incredible green rice fields, and the tranquility is wonderful — no traffic noise, just the sounds of nature. The owner, Gede, is genuinely passionate about farming in the traditional and organic way, and his love for the land really shines through. He took us on a wonderful tour of the rice terraces, sharing his knowledge and stories along the way. We even discovered a little coffee shop during the walk where we could sit back, relax and enjoy some of the best coffee and pastries! Santi made delicious, home-cooked traditional food, which made our stay feel even more special and authentic. Gede and Santi, along with their wonderful team, were incredibly warm and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble, and we truly felt welcomed and cared for. The cabins are absolutely adorable — spacious, comfortable and beautifully situated. And the view… wow! 🌾💚 Waking up surrounded by those gorgeous rice fields was something special. A truly memorable and authentic Bali experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Sari Devi Eco Lodge to anyone looking for peace, nature, wonderful hospitality and a genuine connection to Balinese life. Nothing! We wished we could have stayed longer!!

The reception, the room which was very clean, spacious, ideally located, very quiet, everything was perfect!!! We absolutely recommend it!!! Nothing.

The location among rice fields was stunning with unbeatable views, though it might be a bit hard to reach, but it’s worth the drive.
