“Exactly what I needed”
The location is close to the airport and the staff were very helpful. There’s nothing else to note; it’s just very basic.

We ended up at this hostel after our flight was cancelled. Ronald was very helpful throughout, even offered to pick us up at the airport free of charge. The room was spotless with beautiful amenities and the breakfast was delicious. The only issue was that hot water didn’t come out of the shower, but the host fixed it quickly. The location is a bit far from Cusco’s tourist area.

The place offers unbeatable value; everything is spotless, the bed is comfy, the shower delivers hot water instantly, the breakfast feels homemade, and the owner-operator is genuinely welcoming. It lacks fancy touches like marble tiles, a gym, or a flashy fountain, but that’s fine if you’re not after those extras. The only drawback is its proximity to the airport; a 10‑15 minute Uber ride gets you to Cusco’s center, which I found acceptable, though others might disagree.

The host was extremely warm, helped us with our luggage, and drove us to the station. The room was spacious and tidy, and everything else was satisfactory.

The owner failed to pick us up from the nearby bus station as promised, so after a 20‑minute wait we had to hail a taxi ourselves. The building felt under construction: in two separate rooms the toilet flush didn’t work and the shower water never rose above room temperature. A construction‑site odor permeated the place, yet we still paid the regular rate. The worst part was waking up to numerous bites on our legs, which we suspect came from bed bugs. Breakfast was minimal, and when we finally tried to pay, the owner spent at least 20 minutes because his laptop crashed repeatedly.
