Walking 10 minutes to the city center, cheap parking on the neighboring street, easy check‑in, a quiet flat with comfortable beds, very clean and well equipped, the host is helpful and attentive, the bathroom is a bit cramped but tolerable.

The spacious apartment was great, the beds were firm, everything was clean, and I felt at home from the moment I arrived; the host was also excellent, letting me sleep over at 22:00 after I missed the first booking message and didn’t send the required ID photo, which I had left 400 km away; I arranged a photo the next day and sent it in the morning to be added to the electronic log; for my next trip to České Budějovice I plan to stay in the Smetanka apartments again.

The place is in a great spot—close to the city center, train station, and shops, everything’s within arm’s reach. The room was tidy and comfortable, but I think the ID‑verification process could use a tweak.
