“We enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and loved the gazebo and view.”
The room was nice and clean, but the only issue was the narrow stairs for my husband; we didn't ask for a first‑floor room, so I can't blame the hotel.

The inn was super comfy and spotless, but there was no air conditioning.

The room was spotless, stocked with basics, had a mini fridge, and checking in was a breeze; the staff were friendly. I missed the air conditioner, which is fine most of the year in northern Vermont, but I happened to arrive during the hottest days on record. I decided to eat at the restaurant, got seated in the back room, and they forgot about me for 15 minutes while chatting in the main area; when I finally received my meal it was decent at least.

The historic vibe and the bed were very comfortable, but the overall cleanliness and the tub need improvement. The dining room is cute but there are cobwebs on the posts and beams, and the building shows signs of wear.

The location is great and the room is spacious, but the shower head is weak, the water isn’t hot enough, and the breakfast at this bed‑and‑breakfast is insufficient.
