L'Uliveto

We toured half of Sicily on this trip and stayed in six different spots, but I never met hosts as wonderful and welcoming as Giacomo and Cherubina. They’re fantastic, big‑hearted people who provide a beautiful, peaceful environment and delicious food: Cherubina makes exquisite cakes and cupcakes. The rooms are clean and styled in Sicilian fashion. Outside, there are gorgeous olive trees, a charming landscape, and magnificent views, plus a pool to relax after a long day. We highly recommend this enchanting place and thank you for the warm welcome. We’ll definitely return: warm greetings from Ireland. Poland: We strongly recommend this place, wonderful owners with big hearts, amazing views, peace, nature (if you want to escape noise and chaos) it’s the perfect spot. Rooms clean, styled in Sicilian. After a long tour, relax in the pool. Food cooked by owner Cherubina… delicious Sicilian. We’ll definitely come back 😘

“Omgeven door natuur, heerlijk eten en de meeste gastvrije en vriendelijke mensen. Meraviglioso!”

The breakfast was perfectly prepared, all from the garden (organic) and made with love. If you want, they’ll serve freshly boiled eggs, fresh juice, and coffee of your choice, all with the friendliest smile you’ll see in the morning. In the evening you can join for dinner; the host will let you taste real Sicily. She cooks wonderfully. I was missing nothing. House wine (cold red) and water are included, plus a local drink after. A car is a handy extension of your holiday. Walking out the door for a stroll is a challenge. The surroundings deserve to be explored; this is very easy with a car. The farm is centrally located for outings. There was nothing that disappointed me. Everything was in its place.

Dinner in the evening was fantastic, and breakfast with the homemade dishes was simply stunning. 😄

When we first got there, Cherubina greeted us, offered a drink, and made us feel welcome with her warm personality. The accommodation was comfortable and we slept very well. We loved that plenty of water was included. Every morning during breakfast we were given an extra 2‑liter bottle. Breakfast included eggs and a plate of homemade sweets we could take away if we didn’t finish them…and you couldn’t finish them. The dinners were also a real treat. Book it in!!! A true authentic Italian experience. This is the place you’ll keep thinking about long after our trip is over.

“idyllisch mit schönem Pool und tollem Essen”

The host was super nice and the cook was great—really idyllic. The room felt a bit old‑fashioned with a narrow entrance, the shower stayed cold for a while, and there was no hair dryer.
