No stairs were a relief, but people hanging out outside and someone knocking on my door made me feel uneasy.

The location was spot on for what we needed, and the staff were super friendly! But the place needs an update—holes in the carpet, it hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned properly, bugs along the walls, paint peeling, rust in the bathroom. The beds were clean but not comfy, and the walls were thin enough to hear the neighbors having a pot‑party next door.

The carpet was filthy, the room didn’t smell clean, the tub was peeling, the shower was dirty, yet the bed was comfy. The whole room needs new paint and plaster. The cleaning crew missed details; I ended up cleaning the room myself and wasn’t allowed anyone back in. This lack of hygiene is a COVID risk. Bleach works, but the staff should step up on cleanliness and hospitality. It’s sickening that they expect money but refuse to maintain proper sanitation. I had to clean my own room after paying for it.

The price was very reasonable, the rooms were well furnished and very clean. It’s an old motor court, but the rooms are up‑to‑date and spotless. From the outside the hotel looks a bit rundown and sketchy, keeping its 1950s‑1960s vibe. There are several long‑term residents with grills and furniture outside the rooms, which adds to the sketchy feel, but that didn’t bother me at all. It was a nice place to stay. One downside: the lobby was very hot and humid.
