I stayed within walking distance of everything I needed—Walgreens, Starbucks, and my grandma’s apartment. The staff were helpful and accommodating, and the property stayed quiet from Tuesday to Saturday. Overall a good stay, and I’d return to the Welch Motel. The room had a funky smell, a mix of stale cigarette smoke and mold/mildew, so it might not suit sensitive guests.

The fan in room 21 was very loud and noisy above the shower area, indicating the motor needs replacement or cleaning.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was easy to access, quiet, clean, and safe. The only annoyance was the many mayflies around this time of year in the area.

The room was clean, but the TV was broken, the AC unit made a lot of noise, and I suspect someone had smoked there before.
