The hotel is close to the train station, 20 minutes to the sea, right on the main shopping street, with a 24‑hour reception, a nice courtyard garden, a quiet setting, but the windows cannot be opened. There is no international TV.

The location was great and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Because the hotel was undergoing refurbishment, we were moved to a lower‑tier room at short notice and were disappointed not to have a terrace, but the friendly staff made up for it.

Excellent location, good breakfast, rooftop pool with friendly bar staff, and rooms were cleaned promptly. Our room was downgraded because of renovations, so we missed the outdoor space we had originally booked, which would have made the weekend better. We had nowhere to meet up as a group and socialize, and the bar closed early on a weekend—another half hour would have helped.

The location was superb and the facilities were good. We were confused when booking; we ended up with a double room with a sofa bed at no extra cost, but that wasn’t explained. Then we had to pay a security deposit of €100, yet the card was charged €650. The numbers didn’t add up and it seemed like we were being charged for the upgrade. We were later told we weren’t, and that the excess security would be refunded in a few days. We are still waiting for that.
