The jacuzzi was filled with bubbles. When we booked a package that included breakfast, the staff apologized for not serving breakfast because of the weather, but the restaurant was open. The pool heating was poor, running only for a short time, and even if you order a floating breakfast you have to wait until 10 am to eat by the pool.

The breakfast was good and the room was spacious. The hotel is far from everything, with a view of the ocean and especially of all the fishing boats stopping at Port Louis. The beach is almost non‑existent and the swimming area is like a bathtub. The communal pool is not clean. The room was not very clean—hair, fur, dust, bad humidity smells, no light, black shower grout, and housekeeping didn’t clean daily. The staff were very cold except for the breakfast team. The value for money is very poor. There were several issues with hot water in the showers during our stay. Aside from the spa, where it’s almost impossible to get an appointment, there’s nothing to do; the hotel feels like a ghost during the day. The food selection is very limited and expensive for the quality. The road to the hotel is deplorable—call it a road—and be careful with your car. The common areas are dirty and slippery. There is no elevator to reach the rooms. This was our first time in Mauritius, and in hindsight we regret choosing this very expensive hotel for the services offered. I do not recommend it; stay away.

The staff were helpful. However, there were no daily necessities like groceries or a pharmacy, especially given the remote location.

We had an amazing stay at Le Jadis. Everything from the staff to the food, the room, and the facilities were lovely. The swim‑up bar is also a great addition. We would recommend it to anyone else. The road to the hotel is a bit scary, and when traveling there for the first time it may feel like you’re going to a weird spot, but after the first visit it’s fine!

The hotel is beautiful, quiet, and pleasant, with good breakfasts and excellent service overall. The staff were courteous and answered every question from booking the rooms to departure.
