The hotel sits nicely near the main beach at Witsand, and the owner Tekkie gave a pleasant welcome; Witsand was very quiet on a Sunday evening, so we were happy to dine at Maraschinos on Tekkie’s recommendation. The room met our needs and the beds were good, but the electric kettle was broken and I couldn’t make hot drinks.

Staying there was fantastic – the beach was right at our doorstep and we could watch whales while having breakfast, and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, so I’d definitely come back. There were no complaints at all.
