The owners were very kind and welcoming, offering tours at discounted rates and options to reach the island from the mainland. Our room was small, had no balcony, and the bathroom was drafty and damp because a leak in the shower kept the floor wet; higher‑floor rooms are probably more comfortable.

The room was comfy with AC and a fan that both worked well, plus a small balcony handy for drying clothes. I booked a snorkeling trip at a good price and used their laundry service – everything was great overall. The mattress had a big dent on one side but was still comfortable, and there were large gaps between the balcony doors and the room, but thankfully no mosquitoes.

The owner’s hospitality and the location were excellent, and I think the fishermen’s village is the most authentic, rural part of the islands. Since it’s classified as a hotel, I expected rooms to be cleaned in the morning, but that wasn’t a big issue for me, being used to staying in hostels.

They let us check out at 15:30, the staff were pleasant, and the air conditioning worked well.
