The place is very well organized, the host is friendly and always ready to explain anything. Laundry facilities are available. Breakfast is very good. It’s a quiet pastoral spot, only a five‑minute drive to a nice dinner restaurant, and the host helped us book a table for the evening.

We had an amazing stay; the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us all the info we needed. The glass‑enclosed space designed for watching the Aurora Borealis was a huge plus. The room was compact but the bed was super comfy and the linens were spotless. The shared bathroom stayed very clean. Breakfast was generous, tasty, and one of the best we’ve had in all of Iceland. The location was perfect as a base for our whale‑watching trip in Húsavík the next day. The only downside was the lack of a kitchen for guests, but the hosts kindly lent us utensils so we could pack snacks for the nearby campsite (though the food can cool during transport).

The property is spotless, the interior design is fantastic, and I loved the attention to detail. The layout is great with nice common areas, and the breakfast was amazing. Adalsteinn’s warm welcome was much appreciated.

The lounge, veranda, breakfast, and reception are welcoming and attentive. The only issue was that there was just one shower for four rooms.
