Practically nothing, because we were not even allowed to access the rooms we had reserved and paid for. We were traveling as a family and had booked two rooms to celebrate my mother’s birthday. What was supposed to be a special occasion turned into an absolutely terrible experience. One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Absolutely not recommended. We booked two rooms for a family trip to celebrate my mother’s birthday. When we arrived, there was no staff available and we had never received the access codes to enter our rooms. At 6:52 PM, we informed the property that we were outside and asked for the check-in codes. We repeatedly asked for access, explained that our family urgently needed to use the restroom, and tried calling several times with no answer. Instead of simply providing the codes, we received responses such as “Welcome home” while we remained locked outside. The situation became even more unacceptable when management accused us of “inappropriate” behavior, said cameras were recording us, claimed a security team was coming, and eventually stated that they were going to “remove us from there”—while we were simply outside trying to access the rooms we had reserved and paid for. The conversation naturally became more frustrated after repeatedly requesting access without a solution, but we have screenshots, timestamps, and videos documenting what happened, including several messages from the property that were later deleted. What should have been a special family trip for my mother’s birthday became an extremely stressful experience. No staff, no access codes, unanswered calls, deleted messages, and threats of security instead of a solution. I have stayed in hotels around the world and have never experienced anything like this. There are other accommodations in El Cuyo—I strongly recommend choosing one of them instead

We stayed only one night, but we loved it. The host was very attentive and always in touch. It’s very close to the beach, and there are shops and cafés within walking distance. I totally recommend it!

Close to the beach, good AC, clean. Never met any staff, all information and codes were handled through WhatsApp. Went okay though.
