“Convenient for Tunnel, delightful location, good quality accommodation.”
The gite is spacious, in a quiet spot near the manor house surrounded by lovely gardens. Parking is secure and private. There’s a pool and a jacuzzi, but we didn’t get to use them. Breakfast was excellent, and the hostess was helpful. It’s 40 minutes to the tunnel. There’s a farm next to it, which might matter for some. The en‑suite bathroom, though separated from the bedroom, isn’t a separate room. No nearby restaurants for dinner, but we knew that and bought food on the way, enjoying charcuterie, cheeses, bread and wine at the gite.
