The spot is spot-on for hiking, with quiet, people‑free trails just off the road, and the windows block out the motorway noise perfectly. The beds are super comfy, but the place needs a lot more cleaning. When we got there, the host was nowhere to be seen, so we had to ask other guests for check‑in instructions, which was confusing. The shower stalls in the rooms are open to the hallway, so privacy is an issue, especially if you’re staying with family or friends.

The hosts were very nice, and the location in nature right beside the highway made it a great stop on our drive to Croatia. We could start hiking straight from the property and enjoyed a clear mountain stream. One of the two rooms had the toilet on the hallway, which we hadn’t noticed from the description; it wasn’t a problem for one night. The nearest gas station is about 13 km away, and a place to eat is roughly 3–4 km.

The décor is loving, clean, and comfortable. The welcome was heartfelt and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

We slept on wonderfully comfortable beds and had a great stay. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection, excellent bread and pastries. The hosts were very friendly and we felt completely at ease.
