“Cute stay, super nice in-keepers, lots of beer and good breakfast.”
So first off, it’s kinda far outside of Nuremberg city center and convention halls. If you are going to the Messe, or city center, look elsewhere. Now if you’re stuck and can’t find anything in the city center then this is a great option. It’s far and the transportation sucks. You have to pay $78 one way for an Uber to the city center. If you need to stay near this place then the hotel is pretty awesome. The owner, I didn’t get her name, is the sweetest, kindest, most attentive woman. She really helped me out with logistics of getting to town and even found me hotel guests to carpool with. As far as the room thing, think college dorms. I had my own private college dorm‑style room with my own bathroom. Super clean. The area around is a cute little German village with green fields and animals. Very Bavarian, and breakfast was great as well. There is a kitchen area with a communal fridge where you can put food and reheat later. There is a fridge full of German beer and honor payment system. Super cute family. Large facility with “internat” style living. The distance from the Nuremberg Messe fair was way too far. It’s great if you’re desperate and everything else is booked. Public transportation is not easy to this town, think changing 3 trains and buses from city center. Really figure out transportation to and from if you’re booking here. If you have a rental car then it should be ok, it’s 25 minutes one way to city center.
Very clean room, practical furniture, very kind family host, calm area but it is better to have a car (parking in front and back of the hotel), a few steps to hotel entrance and ground floor rooms, upper floors via stairs
“Gewoon goed en comfortabel”
The location is good and the surroundings are quiet. The reception was friendly and helpful, though the hotel feels a bit dated, yet it is super clean and tidy. There is no lift, but there are only two floors. The bathroom has been renovated and is very clean, and the beds sleep well.
“Sehr gut”
The location and the friendly staff.
“Sehr gerne wieder.”
The hotel is very well run and the staff are extremely friendly, and the breakfast is very good. Parking is located in front of the building, and I really liked the saying on the landing—it replaces the elevator and makes climbing the stairs a lot easier.
