The view was gorgeous, the loft bed was cool for the kids, they supplied a crib when asked, and the staff were very helpful, though the water pressure and temperature were a touch lacking.

The view was great, but there was a bit of noise from the neighboring cabin.

The view was stunning and we slept well because the site was quiet. However, un‑leashed dogs roamed the grounds, following us and blocking our way—they waited by the car and in front of the patio door, and we never learned whether they belonged to the owner or were stray. In addition, the accommodation only provided a dining table with a single chair despite us being four people.

We needed a night’s rest on our way to La Fortuna, and the place was quiet with great views, close to downtown and within walking distance of shops and restaurants, plus on‑site parking; the only issue was the property sits on a very steep hill, but that didn’t affect our 4×4.

The place is wonderful, but a microwave and spoons are very necessary.
