The spot is perfect, just a stone’s throw from Westman Island port. The room was roomy, spotless, and the bathroom had a fantastic shower. Everything else went smoothly, especially the check‑in. I wish they offered a baggage storage spot in the lobby.

The room was clean and the location was perfect, but the staff offered no support at all. I received automated messages with the code and rules, yet the code lock on arrival was barely working, complaining about a low battery and shutting down when I tried to enter the code, so every time we left we risked not being able to get back in. The staff never answered my messages or picked up the provided phone. Additionally, the mini‑fridge worked oddly—it only cooled the very bottom section, and my temperature‑sensitive meds were ruined on a shelf that was barely cooler than the room.

The inn’s location was good and the room itself was okay, but the room’s facilities were lacking: there was only one spoon, one knife, one set of plates and one glass—no cups or forks; the fridge wasn’t cold; and the hand basin and shower drain were blocked, with calls and messages to the owner going unanswered for the two days of our stay.

The place sits nicely near the harbour and within walking distance of the town centre. The room was decent, but the hotel feels dated—front door was broken, construction inside, and a cheap air freshener gave off a strong smell.
