Breakfast was generous, and the host was always there to greet us with a smile. Every time we came back for coffee or a quick chat, he was ready to help. The service was friendly and efficient, making the stay feel like a home away from home. I definitely recommend it.

“The most welcoming host”

The owner and his family really changed the vibe of our stay in Gjirokaster. The rooms were super comfy and the breakfast might have been the best I've had in Albania. Hanging out with a local family felt like a real treat, and the private parking was a nice bonus.

The hosts were kind and dedicated, and the breakfast was huge and tasty. They welcomed us with a little raki, which felt very personal, and overall the value was great. The only downside was the tiny window that didn't shut well, letting in light and street noise that made it hard to sleep. Getting to the place was a bit of a hassle, but we managed.

We were greeted warmly, the beds and blankets were amazing, and the view was stunning. Breakfast was top‑notch, and everything else was just perfect. Honestly, it was all the good stuff.

“Wohnen bei Freunden”

We stayed one night on our first Albanian tour at Guesthouse Rusto and it was the best decision we made. The whole family welcomed us with Rahiki, coffee, and sweets, and we could chat through Google Translate and gestures. The tiny wooden bungalow had two single beds, fine linens, cozy wool blankets, a mini fridge, AC, shower, and a small bathroom—everything we needed.
