The breakfast was lovely, high quality, and so good I skipped lunch. The room was charming and quirky, staying true to its original character. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the area was quiet and pleasant. I had to park my car in the square because there were only a couple of spaces, but parking was free.

We had a brilliant two‑night stay in a beautiful historic building right in the heart of a charming, historically significant village. The staff were wonderful and made our visit memorable. Everything was perfect. The village is walkable to four or five quality restaurants—though you won’t find every cuisine, there’s a great pub with excellent food, a top Turkish restaurant, and a couple of other highly regarded spots. Breakfast here was truly scrumptious.

We loved the location, right in the town centre, close to shops, pubs and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Emma and Jo who made us feel welcome. Parking was a bit tricky because the town was busy most of the day, and there were only two spots available for two cars at the B&B.

From the moment we arrived until check‑out, everything was flawless – Mac, Jo, and the rest of the team went the extra mile to make our stay feel like home. The rooms were luxurious, and the family room with bunk beds and two bathrooms was a hit with the kids. We appreciated the fresh milk, canned water, tea, and coffee that were always on hand. Breakfast was exceptional, and there were great spots right on the doorstep for evening meals. We discovered a real hidden gem, especially convenient for our family trip to Twycross Zoo and learning about the local history with our daughters. The only downside was that we had booked just one night.
