Kathmeyer's Landhaus Godewind is a charming, thatched-roof cottage nestled in a forest, a 10-minute walk from St. Peter-Ording's center. Non-smoking rooms feature flat-screen TVs, DVD players, and comfortable seating areas, with some offering terraces and beach wicker chairs. A rich breakfast is served daily, and a cozy lounge with fireplace invites relaxation.

Familiäres Flair, es mangelte an nichts, der Fahrradschuppen war toll, das Frühstück grandios und die Mitarbeitenden sehr aufmerksam; nichts zu bemängeln.

The house is perfect, thoughtfully furnished, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of delicious options, and the garden in front of the house provides a wonderful view.

A great hotel (old Frisian house) in a quiet setting with a beautiful garden. We were warmly welcomed and shown everything important for our stay. We had a large room on the 1st floor, beautifully decorated. The breakfast buffet in the lovely winter garden was plentiful, with excellent cheese, smoked salmon, rice pudding, red plum compote, fresh fruit—all wonderful. On nice weather, you can dine on the terrace. Mr. Kathmeyer was always on site, caring for guests, helping at breakfast, and always the point of contact. The highlight for us was the cozy fireplace room with a small library, where you could sit in the evening with a glass of wine. There was a good wine selection from places like Rheinhessen, beer, non‑alcoholic drinks, and snacks. All in all, a lovingly run hotel; we highly recommend it and will return.
