“Superbe, improbable pour ce quartier de Sandakan”

The hotel is superb, an unlikely find in Sandakan Old Town; the room view is magnificent, the pool is splendid—especially at sunset; the location is by the water with a few restaurants below; it is far from Sandakan New Town, which is much livelier. The only issues were a clogged sink in the bathroom and toilets that tend to clog easily; otherwise nothing to note; in the evening one must stay in this part of town because Grab is unavailable and taxis all head to Sandakan New Town (IJM).

“Ottima e confortevole permanenza”

The rooms were comfortable and cozy, with a sea view and a city view, and all the requested comforts were present; the reception staff were very helpful and ready to meet any need; the breakfast was varied, featuring both local and international ingredients; the infinity pool overlooking the city and the newly opened Pietro restaurant were highly appreciated. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the neighborhood feels a bit run-down, especially at night.

“Great value and place to stay”

The hotel was really nice, well‑kept, with friendly staff; the rooms were clean and spacious, but the Air Media on the TV didn’t work.

“Penso il miglior hotel di Sandakan”

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious; the rooms were very beautiful and large, with stunning windows overlooking the sea; the staff were very kind; we even received a room upgrade to a superior for our second night; the infinity pool was beautiful and clean. Nothing else.
