Central location. We would have liked a broom and a dustpan, as well as a brush. The shoes aren’t always clean. It’s just a note; it doesn’t affect the rating.

“Clean, comfy accommodation in good location”

There were three solo travellers in my group, and each of us had a separate room with an en‑suite and a kitchen. The rooms were super clean and the beds very comfortable. One room had a balcony. Two had river views, and one faced the front. The kitchen was well equipped (although we didn’t need it). Hot showers were good, and it was convenient to be less than five minutes into Lofer for breakfast or dinner. Bike storage was available. Gunther was very helpful and the place felt nice and private. The tourist and mobility card gave us free transport to and from Salzburg airport (just 45 minutes on the 260 bus). You have to do the digital registration he sends you. Ask for a room at the back or side for views and to avoid the small road noise at the front.

“Pension Goasbichl Lofer”

Our original place was out of service because of a water leak, but the neighbor at Goasbichl stepped in and gave us two adjoining self‑contained apartments. They were fully equipped, the host even let us store our motorcycles in a secure garage, and we got the bonus of an indoor pool right beneath our unit. Lofer is just a five‑minute walk away with plenty of restaurants and bars, and we couldn’t find a single thing to complain about.
