The hosts were welcoming, the food quality was good in a pleasant setting, and the breakfast was hearty. The hotel is in the town center and some rooms face the street.

The room is nice and big enough for three people, breakfast is decent in a lovely hall, the restaurant menu is excellent, meals are plentiful and good quality, and they can be served in the patio when the weather allows, which is great in summer. The managers are very professional and attentive to guests’ wellbeing. However, despite having a fan (which was much appreciated), the heat during our stay made it hard to sleep that night; air‑conditioning would be a real bonus if possible.

It felt thoroughly French yet remained clean, with lovely bathrooms and the owner’s calm friendliness, but it was very hot and there was no air‑conditioning; even though there was a heatwave during our stay and fans were running, I wouldn’t return during another heatwave.
