“Poca professionalità”
The location is very close to the Pasteur stop and not far from the main station (you can even walk there if you want). We arrived around 16:30, well after the scheduled check‑in time, and found the room half‑prepared: the bunk beds were disassembled, with pillows and sheets (apparently from the previous guests) scattered around. The front‑desk guys apologized, saying we could wait in the common area because there had been a laundry issue and even the towels were missing. We told them we needed to shower right away before leaving, and that they could tidy the room once we were out. So we asked for a couple of towels, which they fortunately found and handed us. That was fine – we understand that problems happen. We left around 17:30, returned around 22:00, and when we got back the room had not been touched, and there were no towel sets (nor the shower mat, which is needed because the shower is semi‑open). We complained to the front‑desk guy (a different one, less friendly than the previous two), who grumbled (because he was the one who should be annoyed, not us) that the laundry had gone four hours earlier and they weren’t sure if we were in the room or not. We pointed out that a quick knock would have clarified things, and we were given two more towels. The cherry on top: we had two cold showers because the boiler wasn’t working at night (and honestly, we stayed quiet because we didn’t want to complain further about a stay that started badly and ended worse). The next morning the hot water worked normally.
