A true boutique hotel with real character, far from sterile chains, and a genuine welcome with a tour of the property; the whole team is professional, friendly and avoids the usual gimmicks that other five‑star hotels flaunt—learn from them! The breakfast was very good, and the garden, little pool and patio are places you’d want to linger in; calling it a “guest house” isn’t misleading. The only thing that struck me was the lack of a TV in the rooms, which I think is justified in the tablet age, but a kettle would have been nice—just a detail.

The style was the most tastefully curated I’ve seen, striking a balance between comfort and beauty; the staff were helpful, authentic and attentive to any questions, and I absolutely loved the place.

The welcome was great and the location is close to the centre; everything is extra‑priced on top of an already high rate—yogurt, breakfast eggs, etc.—and there’s no kettle in the room.
