You can see the work that goes into the whole area; heart and soul have been invested here, and the boss is deeply rooted. It’s rare to see that. The question seemed unnecessary.

The place is part of an adventure provider that offers kayaking, canyoning, mountain biking, climbing, and more; the room itself was very quiet, modern inside, with a balcony. Drinks were available 24 h at the fridge on a trust basis. The breakfast in an old‑elegant inn was good! The main house was a bit crooked and dated. Outside there were a lot of toys lying around, giving it a somewhat hostel vibe. The rooms and the breakfast were still top quality!

The atmosphere of such a historic house was truly impressive and the backstory was fascinating. The owner turned out to be an extremely charming and courteous gentleman. Unfortunately, the weather was not great 😅
