The reception, cleanliness, available equipment, and decor were all good. The location was ideal, close to many points of interest and not too far from public transport. The bedding was firm and comfortable. There was nothing special to note; perhaps a slightly larger coffee table would allow two plates, but that’s a minor detail. Also, the stairs on the top floor could be a bit rough on the knees.

It was close to the center. The breakfast was a bit sparse, there was no fan for the heat, the bathroom was very small and cramped, and the bed was very uncomfortable.

Everything was amazing! It was such a fantastic way to experience Nantes and France. The house had character and the room, which had everything you need in a small space, was lovely. Veronica, the most welcoming and helpful host, delivered a lovely continental breakfast on a silver platter. She called to arrange our dinner reservations on the first night at La Cigala—just around the corner—and gave loads of advice on where to visit while we were there. I can’t explain in writing how lovely this accommodation is—you just need to go and stay there. 🤗 (A practical warning: it’s at the very top of a four‑storey house with only stairs, so it’s not ideal for anyone who may not be strong on their feet—other than that, EXCELLENT!)
