The breakfast, bathroom, air conditioning and mosquito net were all good, but there were countless ants and cockroaches and no trash cans in the room.

The place was clean, well‑located and the staff were friendly, yet there was no shampoo in the room, no fridge and no kettle, which made our stay less convenient.

The staff were kind, the place was clean and the location was good, plus free parking and breakfast were included; they also offer a safari at a very low price, so we’ll come back if we ever return to Sri Lanka.

We had a very disappointing experience here: the bathroom lacked basic items like shampoo, soap, and a hairdryer; unlike all the other places we stayed in Sri Lanka, there was no kettle, tea, coffee, cups, or sugar in the room and no Wi‑Fi, making our stay even more inconvenient. The room was infested with insects and lizards, which made us feel very uncomfortable. The host’s attitude was another major let‑down – he was extremely unhelpful, demanded payment in local currency even though we wanted to pay in US dollars and had not yet left, and did not greet us or say goodbye when we departed. At all the other accommodations we stayed at, the hosts were kind enough to accompany us to the door and see us off. The safari tour that was included in the stay had no guide, which was another major disappointment. Overall, this accommodation fell far below our expectations in terms of cleanliness, basic facilities, Wi‑Fi, communication with the host, payment arrangements, hospitality, and safari organization, so we cannot recommend it.
