The hotel is close to the city centre, but the host isn’t proactive with messages, so you have to reach out a couple of days ahead.

No problem, because I was arriving in Florence when they sent an email cancelling my stay. I thought it was absurd!

“Very disappointed, severe water leak flooding the rooms”

Strategic location,close to station. Room was not ready at checkin time. We had to wait for 1 hour for the staff to fix the hot water system issue. No privacy as the door to our unit is a glass door so other guests can see through inside our unit. The elevator sometimes did not work so we had to climb up the stairs. The worst part is that the bathroom was leaking so badly overnight. We had to use all towels to block the water entering bedrooms and flooding the living & dining area, but it did not help. The water leak was from the unit upstairs, there was water damage and extensive stain on the wall which showed that this plumbing issue had been happening for a while. They should not rent out the unit with this inhabitable condition. It could be the reason why the hot water system was turned off before we checked in. We felt that we have been scammed

The location is strategic, but the room is inadequate and not up to standard: a broken window, no duvet, and no staff assistance.
