This is the best hostel for hanging out; I’ve been to many and most lack a common area, but this one shines. Great location, great common space, wonderful staff, and clean. I’d recommend it 100 %.

It was super quiet because it’s tucked into an alley, so street noise didn’t bother me. The bed was comfortable. There was free water from a dispenser and free coffee. A lounge area was available for hanging out. The hostel is near Nana’s red‑light district, which is handy if that’s what you’re after. The room felt safe—key card access was required. A sign warned that a 100 b fee would be charged if you leave the door open. The place wasn’t very clean, but that’s expected at that price. My roommates in the female dorm were all Asians—some kept the lights on at night.

I’m an older guest and had a bit of trouble choosing a bed when I checked in, but otherwise nothing else went wrong.

The hotel was clean, full of young people which made it easy to meet new folks, and the internet connection was excellent; I’d definitely book again without hesitation.
