“Would 100% recommend - great staff, amazing location, and the comfiest bed I have ever slept in”

Firstly, the staff were amazing. So friendly, and helpful - happy to give recommendations and answer all my questions. The location was perfect - Bowery gives you so many great streets and areas (Bleecker St, Elizabeth St, China Town/Little Italy, NoHo, Nolita, etc.) Some amazing coffee shops (% Arabica & Enly are great) and Apollo Bagels, etc. within 15 mins walking distance. You also have the subway, about 5 mins walk away which can take you to 5th Ave, Central Park, etc. Washroom facilities were all very clean, stocked loo rolls, and body wash, etc. and I never had to queue for a shower or loo. They also have Dyson hairdryers, and lots of plugs by mirrors for your own hair tools, etc. Finally, I have travelled a lot, and this was honestly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Without a doubt. I would 100% come back to stay here, without a doubt. For the most part, I slept like a baby - which I honestly felt super grateful for, given the set-up (be realistic that this is not a standard hotel set-up). However, there were a couple of nights where two girls selfishly had phone calls in the early hours (most people are super respectful). It is part of the parcel when you stay in a "hostel", so if you are a really light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. That being said, they do provide ear plugs, and sound machines for sleeping (no eye mask, so bring your own)

The room was small but nice, which was perfect for me since I prefer sleeping alone, and it was generally clean. The issues weren’t really with the accommodation but with other guests who sometimes left their stuff out or didn’t clean the toilet. Because the place is “open” at the top, you hear everything, and it was most annoying when the alarm clock rang and wasn’t turned off.

The location is good, but I hope the price stays the same… cheaper.

Great for solo female travelers, the location is perfect and close to the metro. The lack of an elevator and the steep stairs are a drawback, but there is staff who can help lift luggage if needed.

“Perfect for solo travelling”

The spot is spot‑on for solo travelers, especially on the women+ floor which made things super convenient. The rooms are small, but the bed feels like a cloud and the restrooms stay spotless. The only downside was that most rooms lack natural light, which can feel draining on a longer stay, though that was a minor issue for me.
