A great place, very close to the beach. Even though the beach itself wasn’t the best :( The building’s details are remarkable, the design is excellent, and there’s a rooftop swimming pool. The bed and room space weren’t that great; I had booked a place with a bed, which apparently was for one person.

A small hotel just back from the beach in a great spot, with a very helpful owner. The oddly shaped outdoor bathroom still had good hot water and both a bath and shower, and the wardrobe was safe. There’s a lift, a small rooftop pool with nice views, and a lovely breakfast. Nothing serious to complain about.

The hotel feels peaceful yet still right in the heart of Mount Lavinia, literally a two‑minute walk to the beach; I’d call it a hidden gem, as soon as you step inside the weight of the world seems to lift. The room exceeded our expectations, with a bathroom larger than most UK flats, and the rooftop pool was perfect for relaxing while watching the world go by. The hosts were exceptional, doing everything possible to make us feel at home. We chose the breakfast included with our stay and it was beyond what we imagined—a beautifully varied traditional Sri Lankan breakfast each morning, tailored to our individual tastes. Absolutely perfect! The only downside was having to leave.

A very extensive, good breakfast. The owner is very friendly and always exceptionally helpful. The rooms are large, the bathrooms are big and clean. The location is very quiet, with the beach a few minutes’ walk away and Mount Lavinia station nearby. Special thanks to the owner for making our stay very pleasant and always offering help. A safe in the room would be nice.
