Two years ago I stayed here on a misty November day and decided I’d come back one summer. The surroundings with the rose garden are wonderful, and you can step directly onto the courtyard from the rooms—endless peace and beauty. I even got to visit the castle where I experienced Petőfi Sándor’s travels in Sátmar. Anyone interested in literature, poetry, romance should definitely visit. From the castle you can take good hikes to the nearby medieval churches, the sites of our history and literature. The only downside was that breakfast could have started earlier so we could leave on time for the hikes.

I’d like to add that the kitchen is well equipped, the TV is large, there’s an air‑conditioner in the bedroom, the bed and towels are clean, and the bathroom is great with a washing machine and boiler. Evenings are pleasant on the small terrace. The owner grilled fish for us. Our kids moved freely around the area.

Kind staff, clean room, tasty and plentiful breakfast awaited us. Everyone should see the rose garden at least once; it’s truly fairy‑tale beautiful.
