The resort is 1 hour from Doi Suthep, 20 minutes from the city centre, and 30 minutes from Chiang Mai International Airport.

The restaurant was good, but the first impression was that the property looked tired and rundown, which was really disappointing. When we asked about renting a motorbike, they demanded 350 bht while other places charge 250 bht per day, and when we questioned that, they told us to go outside and find something else—a rude attitude I’d never seen in Thailand after traveling all over the country for 30 years. It was a rare and unpleasant experience, so we shortened our stay because of these issues.
