“Excellent breakfast. A last minute booking due to accident on M6, a very comfortable stay in the circumstances.”
A quiet spot really made the trip worthwhile.

The old house was beautifully renovated, with handmade wooden details crafted by the owner, and the hosts greeted me warmly. Breakfast was hot and served at a communal table, and the location was convenient for a coast‑to‑coast trip. They also prepared a homemade dinner, though it wasn’t always on the menu. The bedroom was spacious and the beds comfortable.

The place felt warm and welcoming, and every room—bedroom, dining, and sitting—was well appointed and tastefully furnished. The food was fantastic, and I can’t think of a single flaw.

The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean and good, and the food and drinks were delicious. The only downside was that the room didn’t have a water glass.

The property was very clean and organized, and a cheerful staff member greeted me and showed me to my room. Later she helped me with a tricky door lock. The location was close to a grocery store, a bus stop, and a few restaurants, and the breakfast was good. I stayed in a room that looked like a nice camping spot in the back garden. However, the bathroom was in the hall, separate from the room, a detail I wasn’t aware of before arriving. It was supposed to be private, but the crowded camper area next to me treated it like a public toilet. They take “no check‑in before 3:30 p.m.” seriously, so I had to wait outside until the door unlocked. The Wi‑Fi was poor.
