“Very goid”
Breakfast was excellent; the room was small but sufficient for a one‑night stop. The attached pub was friendly and welcoming. A tapping noise from the room above—probably rain—was slightly annoying.

Nestled in Hertfordshire’s picturesque Wadesmill, the Feathers by Chef & Brewer Collection is a meticulously restored 17th‑century coaching inn. Modern rooms feature flat‑screen TVs, tea/coffee makers, private showers, and free Wi‑Fi. The on‑site restaurant offers seasonal dishes beside exposed brick, timber beams, and a log fire, while a traditional bar serves real ales. Located just two minutes from the A10, the hotel provides free parking and easy access to the M25.

The location was good. The bathroom looked a bit tired and could use a refresh.

The front desk team was fantastic; when I decided to stay longer they moved my luggage for me, and when my charger broke they handed me a spare. It was a bit of a hassle, but they were always cheerful. The rooms were cozy and warm, and the on‑site restaurant was superb.

I booked this place because it was close to my friends' house, which worked out fine. The floorboards in the room above were creaky and I could hear people walking around. The sausages at breakfast seemed to have been reheated, and the vegetarian sausage was also reheated.
