“Excellent Room, Serious Noise issues”
The room was solid—one of the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on in a hotel, and I spend a lot of time in hotels! The space was large and cozy, and having a Keurig in the room was a real bonus. There are plenty of restaurants and fast‑food spots nearby, plus Target, so I made a quick trip into Fredericksburg. On the downside, this was one of the noisiest hotels I've stayed at. The guests were loud, but the real problem surfaced when I turned off the lights at night: there was a huge gap under the door, wide enough to fit my whole hand into the hallway. The next day I checked and found that every second‑floor door was cut wrong, so even with the door shut, hallway noise seeped through. To top it off, I was placed in a room with an adjoining door, and at 7 am the next morning I had to listen to a very loud conversation from the couple next door, hearing every word. It’s a shame the basic structure of the hotel was built so cheaply, especially since the room itself was very comfortable. I managed to make it work, but I wouldn't choose it again because of the noise level.
