This place is great for a stopover near Lyon/Macôn on the way south; the pool is lovely, but the restaurant is definitely worth the detour. It’s often full of locals from the area, and if you stay there you always get priority for reservations. The value for money is really good. We stayed in the spacious room with a motorcycle and a view of the Ain. It’s very quiet close to the bridge, and once you cross it you can enjoy a nice swim in the riverbank or just relax by the houses along the water. If you’re still traveling, the Brou monastery is also worth a visit. We were there in high summer, but luckily the heatwave was just behind us. The room was fine thanks to a big fan, but an air‑con would be a luxury that could still be added; the heat seems to increase each summer.

“Super sted - savnede oplysninger om, at restaurant var lukket.”

The city is fantastic with good facilities and a great location. The restaurant was closed, which is simply not acceptable. They should inform guests about this, as it can be a decisive factor for dining (it’s not mentioned during booking). The place earned a top rating, but it would have been better if we could have had a drink and dinner on the terrace by the river.

The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and each room’s theme is extraordinary. Breakfast and dinner were very good at moderate prices. Our car was parked overnight in a secured courtyard!
